hannah k. pingelton
Hello!
My name is Hannah K. Pingelton. A double graduate of New York University, I first received my Bachelor of Arts from the College of Arts and Science in Anthropology and Creative Writing via the Liberal Studies Core in 2013, and in 2016 received my Master of Arts in Higher Education and Student Affairs. Currently, I am the Assistant Director of Student Affairs for Liberal Studies at NYU, LGBTQ Writer for Girls in Capes, and well on my way to becoming a full-blown dog lady.
A born and bred Midwesterner, I have an affinity for the Missouri Tigers, am constantly trying to escape to wide open spaces upstate, and struggle to reconcile old loves (midscale chain restaurants and their endless, buttery breadsticks) with the new (the #1 Soho Halal Guy cart on the southwest corner of Houston and Broadway).
When I'm not working with students, writing, or trying not to think about how horrified my doctors are by my love of Olive Garden breadsticks, you can probably find me waxing poetic about the moon, obsessively consuming film and television in the name of theses I'll never write, and fervently practicing my own barely-qualified brand of armchair archaeology.
Please feel free to explore my work, review my resume, and reach out should you have any questions. (Or if you also just really, really like Olive Garden.)
